The Viennese painter Heinz Anger began his studies 1959 at the Academie of Fine Arts in Vienna with Sergius Pauser, from 1960 he attended the class of Albert Paris Gütersloh. Since 1961 he worked as a freelance graphic designer and artist.

Colour and light dominate Heinz Angers work. The subjects in his oil paintings are mainly nudes and still lifes. In his watercolours he preferably depicted landscapes that follow the Austrian tradition.

Anger elevates landscape to the subject of his art and is always striving for depiction of the truth in nature.
