The impulse and the dynamic in the works of Robert Kabas are the expression of his artistic examination of time and space and of the possibility to record motion sequences. Communication is the overall content of his paintings.
Robert Kabas studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and received his diploma for painting and teaching in 1976. In the course of a foreign exchange scholarship he travelled to Egypt and he also worked in guest studios in Munich and Wolfsberg.
Kabas is presenting his works in exhibitions in Austria and abroad since 1975 and has received numerous awards and prizes. Robert Kabas lives and works as a freelance artist in Vienna and Purgstall.
