Karl Goldammer is an Austrian artist known for his versatile works in the fields of painting and graphic art. Goldammer studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, where he developed his characteristic style that can be classified within the genre of Magic Realism.
From 1964 to 1969, Karl Goldammer attended the Graphic Teaching and Research Institute in Vienna and subsequently worked at the University of Applied Arts. From 1972 onwards, he worked as a freelance artist and held numerous exhibitions both domestically and internationally. His preferred subjects were architectural depictions in a highly detailed, realistic painting style.
Karl Goldammer lived in Maria Anzbach, where the Goldammer Museum was located until 2018.
