Anne Hausner studied at the Academy of Visual Arts in Hamburg and 1966-68 passed the class for painting with Rudolf Hausner. 1970 she moved to Vienna together with Rudolf Hausner (two daughters, Tanja and Jessica).

Annes Hausner mainly created studies of nature. In a very detailed technique, based on acrylic- and oil paint, Anne Hausner paints surfaces and structures. Her depictions seem like metaphors for chaos and order. 1998 she made the series “Elemente”, where she described nature in painting and photography.
